Happy Labor Day ...

New York Labor Day Parade 1882This weekend always signals to me the last gasp of summer, school supplies and one last big barbecue.  We have had a short summer this year, only a handful of warm days.  But this is supposed to be a nice weekend, so I plan to enjoy it, making tamales with my family and roasting a big wild salmon on the barbecue.  Have a great weekend.

I am looking forward to sharing a bunch of new goodies after all the kids are back in school and fall begins in earnest.
