Well, after talking with some beadmaking friends, I decided to take the plunge and get back to selling some of my work on ebay. I sold my lampwork beads there for ten years before moving to etsy. Check out my new offerings on ebay. The shipping is a little less and there will no doubt be some great deals on my beads until all of my customers realize that I am back on ebay! I will still have some offerings on etsy but some of their new policies regarding "handmade" work were not supportive of craftspeople...so, check it out, let me know what you think!

It's too bad that Etsy has alienated so many artists because frankly I am run ragged trying to remember where all of you have moved. As a buyer, I know very well what "handmade" is, and it was very convenient to find it all in one place. Quite frankly, there was always a lot of junk on Etsy even before the recent changes, and I'm still perfectly willing to ignore all of that.

Thanks Gale for your input. I loved ebay and will probably get all of my work listed there for fall. I have great customers there..some that do not purchase on etsy (for whatever reason). I will have a new line of beads and pendants for fall...I am really excited about them..new kiln, new, larger torch..some boro work..woohoo!
