Definitely not a still life!

I came across the video below while I was searching for a book on ancient glass on Amazon.  I streamed it on New Year's Eve and I have to say, what a great way it was for me to start the New Year.  Ginny Ruffner has always been a favorite glass artist of mine, but I have to admit that until I watched this, I had no idea what challenges she has faced since her car accident.  If you are thinking that this could be a bit depressing...forget that!  Ginny's approach to her art and life will inspire you.  i really like what she says about BEING an artist..that if you are an artist, that is all you really can be.  Watch this, be inspired, and smile!
